Pipe: 12, Thompson: 0

The problems we’re facing in the district—unemployment, a sagging economy, and a Washington not listening—don’t fall on party lines, and neither should our solutions.  It’s time we stepped out from the shadows of partisan politics and began an honest discussion among us all: Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike. Next week marks the beginning of my twelve stop New Generation of Leadership town hall series and I would like to hear your questions, comments, and concerns.

Voters last summer made headlines speaking out at town halls across 20 mg lexapro the country.  The exchange between constituents and their elected officials may have been sharp, but the process is essential to our democracy.  Now more than ever, we need representatives who are willing to listen.

Residents hoping to meet with the incumbent Glenn Thompson this summer must cough up a donation first.  His three August fundraisers are the only in-person meetings currently available.  According to Congressman Tim Murphy, “If you are not listening, you are not learning. People already think public officials aren’t listening. To not hold a town hall just feeds into that perception.”

I’m here and I’m ready to listen.  Will you make your voice heard?  Please visit to find the town hall nearest to you.
